Dr. Nalini Chandra, MD

Founder & Medical Director, Neuravana Health

I’m a board-certified pediatric neurologist who created Neuravana to offer the kind of care I searched for as both a physician and a mother.

For more than a decade, I practiced conventional pediatric neurology—diagnosing, treating, and supporting children with complex neurologic and developmental needs.

Over time, I saw a recurring gap: many autistic and neurodivergent children weren’t struggling only with “behavior” or isolated diagnoses. Their day-to-day function was often shaped by sleep disruption, GI discomfort, immune/inflammation patterns, nutrition, sensory stress, and nervous system overload—factors that conventional care can acknowledge, but often cannot address in a truly integrated, sequenced way.

That gap became deeply personal when one of my twins regressed developmentally and was diagnosed with autism. Like so many families, I found myself navigating fragmented systems and chasing one intervention at a time. It made one thing unmistakably clear: to support neurodevelopment well, you have to support the whole ecosystem of the child—and the caregiver, too.

Neuravana reflects how I practice now: a 360° model that integrates:

-Biochemical support (digestion, nutrition, metabolism, detox pathways)
-Nervous system regulation (sleep, stress physiology, sensory load, resilience tools)
-Neurologic integration (development, communication, learning, behavior, and safety-focused pattern recognition)

My aim is not to “change who your child is.”
It’s to reduce physiologic burden, stabilize regulation, and expand functional capacity—so your child can feel safer in their body, make meaningful progress, and thrive as their authentic self.

I also believe caregiver resilience is not optional. A child’s nervous system develops within a family system—so supporting parents and caregivers is a core part of sustainable healing.
