Welcome to Neuravana
Neuravana Health is a physician-led, membership-based program for families who want more than "trial-and-error." We bring a pediatric neurology lens to autism and neurodivergence—paired with integrative and functional medicine—so you have a sequenced plan, objective tracking, and a clear path forward.
Neuravana is designed as a structured roadmap—not a “pay-per-visit” model. Your membership covers everything from deep evaluation to phased implementation and progress tracking.

Therapy services (ABA/OT/SLP), though we can align your plan with your child’s current therapy goals
The Neuravana Process

Alignment + Fit
We start with an Alignment Call to understand your child's current challenges, your goals, what you've already tried, and whether Neuravana is the right fit. This is where we identify the true bottleneck—the thing most limiting regulation, learning, and daily function right now.

360° Deep-Dive Evaluation
Next, we complete a comprehensive pediatric neurology–informed assessment paired with a whole-body integrative review. We look at development, behavior, nervous system patterns, sleep, gut comfort, nutrition, immune/inflammation load, and environmental stressors—so we're not treating symptoms in isolation.

Data That Guides the Plan
When clinically appropriate, we add targeted foundational labs, advanced specialty labs, and structured assessments, that can include an ADOS2 test when indicated, to reduce guessing. The goal is not "more testing"—it's better sequencing and safer decisions.

Your Living Blueprint
You receive a clear, step-by-step Phase 1 Blueprint: what to do first, what to hold, how to track change, and how to know whether a strategy is helping. This blueprint is designed to be realistic, measurable, and adjustable—not rigid.

Guided Implementation in Phases
We implement in phases, addressing the most prominent imbalance first (often sleep/regulation, GI/nutrition, or immune/inflammation). Each phase builds on the previous—so progress is stable and sustainable rather than chaotic.

Measure → Adjust → Repeat
At regular checkpoints, we review objective measures and real-life outcomes (sleep, stools, regulation, stamina, function). We keep what works, refine what doesn't, and move to the next highest-yield layer.

Consolidation + Next-Step Plan
At the end, we consolidate gains, quantify progress, and create a next-step plan—either ongoing membership support or a self-management/maintenance approach—so your family leaves with clarity, confidence, and a path forward.
Neuravana is not about changing who your child is. It’s about reducing suffering, lowering physiologic load, and building regulation and resilience—so your child can function with more ease, and your family can breathe again.
Who Is Neuravana The Best Fit For?
The best outcomes happen when there's a strong match between what we offer and what your family needs right now.
Neuravana is ideal if you:
Want a neurology-grounded, whole-body approach to autism and neurodivergence
Are overwhelmed by fragmented care and want a clear roadmap
Are dealing with symptom clusters — sleep, GI pain, selective eating, immune/inflammation patterns, dysregulation
Are willing to complete prework (intake + records + assessments) so care can be precise
Prefer a plan that is measured and adjusted over time, not based on guessing
Neuravana may not be the right fit if you:
Need urgent care, same-day medical access, or frequent unscheduled visits
Want a one-time supplement list without tracking or follow-through
Are unable to complete required intake and assessments (we can discuss timing if you're overwhelmed)

GI & Nutrition
Gut health, constipation, nutritional imbalances, metabolic stress.
Sleep & Stress Regulation
Sleep disruption, emotional dysregulation, behavioral patterns.
Immune & Inflammation
Immune activation, chronic inflammation, neurological impact.
What's Shared — and What's Different
Both pathways begin with the same three foundational steps: Alignment Call, Comprehensive Assessment, and Review of Findings / Blueprint Creation. These steps are essential to understanding your child's full picture — regardless of which program you choose. What differentiates the two pathways is what happens after these three steps.
12-Month Program
Complex Multi-System Support
After the three shared steps, the 12-month program addresses multiple physiologic systems sequentially using the full framework. It is designed for children with complex, multi-system dysregulation requiring phased physician-guided implementation across 7–9 months: Phase I — System Stabilization Phase II — Network Restoration Phase III — Resilience Optimization Goal: Achieve broader and more durable improvement in regulation.
3-Month Program
Single-Focus, Self-Managed
The Focused Stabilization Program is a distinct, short-term pathway for selected lower-complexity cases and addresses one primary area of need using a narrower assessment process. If a family later chooses to transition into the comprehensive long-term Program, that transition involves a new, broader assessment, a newly developed year-long blueprint, and enrollment into the full longitudinal model at the standard annual rate.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is integrative medicine?
Integrative medicine combines conventional medical care with evidence-informed lifestyle and complementary approaches — focused on the whole child (sleep, nutrition, stress physiology, environment) rather than isolated symptoms.
What is functional medicine?
Functional medicine is a systems-based approach that looks for patterns and contributors to symptoms (gut function, nutrient status, immune/inflammation load, metabolic stress) and then sequences interventions in a measurable way.
Why choose an integrative pediatric neurologist?
A pediatric neurologist brings specialized training in the developing brain, neurologic pattern recognition (including seizure/spell screening, differentiating between regressive episodes), and neurodevelopment — then integrates whole-body physiology in a structured plan.
Do you take insurance (including Medicare/Medi-Cal)?
Neuravana is a private-pay membership practice, not contracted with private nor public insurances and does not bill them. We can provide receipts you may submit to your plan if applicable, but reimbursement is not guaranteed.
Should my child keep health insurance and a pediatrician?
Yes. Your child should remain established with a pediatrician/primary care clinician. Insurance remains important for urgent care, emergency care, conventional care/vaccines, imaging, EEGs, hospital services, and many third-party services.
Should my child keep their regular neurologist?
Yes — however, patients with active neurological conditions (such as seizure disorders, traumatic brain injury, neuromuscular disorders, or other conditions currently managed by a conventional pediatric neurologist) must continue that care alongside their membership with us. Because our practice is rooted in integrative and lifestyle medicine, we do not manage acute or active neurological conditions.
To ensure your child's safety, maintaining an ongoing relationship with a conventional neurologist is required for all members. Think of us as the "Integrative Layer" of your care team — we provide the in-depth metabolic, nutritional, and lifestyle work that falls outside the typical scope of conventional neurology.
If a new or suspected neurological condition arises while your child is a member of Neuravana, our team will coordinate and facilitate referrals to the appropriate specialist.
Do you provide urgent or emergency care?
No. Neuravana is non-urgent, outpatient, longitudinal care. For urgent symptoms (new seizures, respiratory distress, severe dehydration, severe pain, sudden neurologic changes), seek care with your child’s conventional neurologist, urgent care, or emergency services.
Are labs included in membership?
We order labs through Quest, Labcorp, Rupa, and other specialty labs when clinically indicated. Labs are billed separately by the laboratory. We focus on highly targeted testing to keep costs predictable.
Are supplements included?
If supplements or botanicals are recommended, they are selected conservatively and tailored to your child’s needs and labs. Product costs are separate.
Do you collaborate with my child’s therapists or school team?
We support collaboration through shared goals and, when appropriate and with signed releases, communication aligned with your child’s plan and progress measures.
How soon will we see results?
Some “quick wins” (sleep comfort, GI regularity, regulation routines) may improve within the first few weeks to months. Deeper, durable change often takes longer and depends on your child’s baseline physiology and consistency of implementation. This is why care at Neuravana is delivered through a systems-based, phased-in, and closely monitored approach over one year. No outcomes can be guaranteed, but what can be guaranteed is compassionate guidance, care grounded in scientific evidence, and a comprehensive, structured care plan that reduces information overload and overwhelm.
How do I get started?
Start with an Alignment Call. If we’re a fit, you’ll receive portal access for forms, intake, and record upload. Once onboarding is complete, you’ll schedule your first visit.
Telehealth-first care
Neuravana can begin with telehealth, especially during clinic build-out. Telehealth allows deep history review, functional planning, and phased monitoring. Patients should maintain an established relationship with a primary care clinician and, when indicated, a pediatric neurologist for in-person neurologic examination and screening.
